Álvaro Arbeloa Coca was born in Salamanca on the 17th January 1983. He is a Spanish footballer who plays as defender for Real Madrid. Arbeloa trained with Real Madrid as a youth player, and worked his way up to the first team, making his debut in the 2004/05 season. He moved to Deportivo La Coruna to play first team football in the 2006, but joined to Liverpool after half a season. Arbeloa made 93 appearances in his three seasons with Liverpool. He returned to Madrid in 2009 for a fee of 4 million of euro. He won the Copa del Rey in the 2011. To date, he made more than 72 games. He made his senior debut in 2008. He won the European in the 2008 ad 2012, and the World Cup in the 2010.
