Iker Casillas Fernández was born in Madrid on the 20th May 1981. He is a Spanish goalkeeper who plays for Real Madrid. He is also the captain of the team. Casillas had started in the junior squad of Real Madrid's youth system in the 1990. He debuted in the 1999 with the senior team. He has always played for Real Madrid. To date he played more than 440 games, as first choice. He won 4 La Liga, one Copa del Rey, 3 Supercopa de Espana, 2 Champions League, one Uefa Super Cup and one Intercontinental Cup. He is considered one of the bet goalkeeper in the world. Casillas debuted for the national team in the U–17 level. At age 16, he was the youngest player in the Spanish squad that placed third at the 1997 FIFA U-17 World Championship. Casillas is currently the most capped player in the history of the Spanish national team. He won the World Cup in the 2010, the European in 2008 and 2012. He is also the captain of the team.
