Leonardo Bonucci was born in Viterno on the 1st May 1987. He is an Italian footballer who plays as defender for Juventus. Bonucci started his career at Viterbese but was loaned to Inter in the 2005 summer. Bonucci made his Serie A debut in the last match of 2005/06 season. In January 2007, 50% of Bonucci's registration rights were sold to Treviso by Inter along with 50% of the registration rights. Bonucci subsequently remained at Inter until the 30th June 2007. On the 1st July 2007, he officially became Treviso player. Bonucci played 13 Serie B matches for Treviso before left for Pisa on loan in the 2009. On the 1st July, he moved to Genoam but the day after he moved to Bari, in a co-ownership deal. At Bari he has become first choice in central defence, showing a composed yet strong and effective defensive style. After played 38 times with Bari, on the1 July 2010 he moved to Juventus for 15.5 million of euro. Bonucci made his debut with the national team on the 3rd March 2010, in a friendly match against Cameroon. Then he was included in the squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
