Wesley Sneijder was born in Utrecht on the 9th June 1984. He is a Dutch footballer who plays for Inter F.C. as attacking midfielder. A product of the Ajax Academy, he previously played for them from the 2002 to the 2007. He won six trophies and during which time he was awarded the best young player in the Netherlands in 2004. He was later sold to Real Madrid for 27 million of euro in 2007, winning La Liga in his first season. For Real Madrid he played two seasons, making 52 appearances and scoring 11 goals. On the 27th August 2009 he moved to Inter F.C. for 15 million of euro. He helped them to win a Serie A in 2009/10, 2 Coppa Italia in 2009/10 and 2010/11, a Supercoppa Italiana in 2010, a UEFA Champions League in 2009/10 and a FIFA Club World Cup in 2010. He started to play with the U-17 team in 2000 and than with the U-19 in 2001. In 2003 he moved to the U-21 but was moved up directly to the senior team in which he currently plays regularly. He got a silver medal in the 2010 World Cup, losing the Final against Spain.
